K35 is a place for you to share, play with and create art. Start your own online gallery, play games be crafty and discover fresh ideas for making art in K35. The workshops are also a way to introduce children to contemporary art at a young age. Each workshop begins with a discussion of the current shows on display at the gallery, followed by a mixed media art project based on the aesthetics and themes of the exhibit. Take a ride in our art time machine and explore the wonderful world of imagination, colour and fun art materials and tools. From Andy Warhol to Fontana, children will create art pieces, exploring colour, pattern and texture based on some of the most famous artists and art pieces of past and present. This mixed media will allow children to explore and learn about many art materials and techniques and is designed to give young artists an appreciation and understanding of art history in a fun way. In a gallery filled with exciting materials and tools, children will turn their ideas into works of art that will be their very own masterpieces..
